Hello World

I have a question, thought I’d try Nook to see if anyone knows anything, don’t know if I’ll hold my breath though ‘cos it looks as if Nook hasn’t improved but here goes anyways.

Story begins yesterday when I went to Westfield Airport West, now this isn’t my local shopping centre but on and off over a year I make semi regular trips there. well yesterday I parked where I often do in a general parking area to come back 2 1/2 hours later to find I’ve got a parking fine.

I’m confused I’m in a 3 hour area it’s not like I’m in a loading zone, disabled area, slap bang at entrance, what gives, then I look yes well it appears the previous 3 hour areas are now 1 hour. what the! when I go to a large shopping centre it’s to shop, pay bills, maybe meet friends have a coffee go to the movies I mean it is school holidays what sub moron in their right mind thinks that anyone can do this in an hour!!!! don’t they what customers??? now I accept there should be some short term parking bays  but not hundreds!!!!!

Anyway this is where the plot thickens after having a bitch to all and sundry about this yesterday a couple of people said that they have heard that this is as a result of a deal with the owners of the shopping centres and councils whereby they are delibrately putting in large areas of these zones so the council can make a squillion booking people in return the shopping centre is paying reduced council rates!!!!!!!!! Now has anyone else heard anything to this effect ,cos if it’s true there needs to be a major inquiry!!!!!!!

Hope all in Nookster world had a great Christmas and wish everyone all the best for the year/years to come. Have enjoyed my discussion with you all, certainly very stimulating, thought provoking and entertaining. Take care.

Bye
